FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Can you bill my insurance company?

At this time we can't bill your insurance company. You must pay for the service up front and submit the paid towing invoice on your car to your insurance company and have them reimburse you for the tow.

2. Does A & A Towing accept AAA?

No A & A Towing is not a contracted AAA provider. To obtain a tow using your AAA, you must call AAA and they will dispatch a Tow Truck or Rollback to tow your car.

3. How do I know if I need a flabed?

If your car is 4-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, or have a flat tire opposite of drive axle (example: You have a front flat on a rear wheel drive car) you will need a flatbed. If you have excessive damage due to an accident, or you have a rear wheel drive car on the highway. A car with ground effects may need a flatbed as well. We recommend a flatbed for "exotic, antique and project cars", and any car that has been modified from the manufacturers original production may need special handling with special straps to secure it to the flatbed.

4. Can you tow my vehicle if it is in a parking garage?

A & A Towing has a Tow Truck that has a clearance of 7ft 0in, so we can carefully extract vehicles from most parking garages.

5. What information do I need to have to get a tow truck or rollback dispatched?

We will need to know the location of your car, the type of vehicle you have, year, make, model, color, license plate, and the address and business of where your car is being towed, what is wrong with the vehicle, your phone number and how you are paying.

6. What are your hours of operation?

A & A Towing tows vehicles 24 hours a day 7 days a week, open all holidays including Christmas.

7. Can you bill me?

All invoices are due at the time of service. Unless the vehicle is towed to a repair shop that we have an account with. You may be able to add your towing bill on to the repair shop bill. Keep in mind this may be an additional cost. Your best bet is to always pay up front.

8. What is a fuel surcharge?

Since the rise in the prices of fuel we have implemented a fuel surcharge to help make up for the fluctuation in fuel prices, rather than changing our rates all the time.

9. Do I have to be with the vehicle to get a tow?

No, you do not need to be with the vehicle to get a tow as long as you leave the keys with the car and let us know how you are paying. (Example: You are paying by check but are unable to meet the driver, our dispatchers would calculate the mileage and should be able to give you the price therefore you may leave the check in the vehicle along with the keys, common places keys are left are: under the floor mat, above the visor, in the gas flap, in the ignition, on the tire.) You just need to let our dispatchers know where you will be leaving the key.

10. What forms of payment does A & A Towing accept?

Cash, debit cards and most forms of instant cash (t-check, efs check, etc.), charge (Discover, American Express, MasterCard, Visa)

11. Where does A & A Towing operate Tow Trucks and Rollbacks?

At this time A & A Towing Services currently has a fleet of light and heavy duty tow trucks and recovery equipment and heavy equipment hauling trucks serving St. Charles and St Louis Counties.

12. I've heard it's better to let my Insured Car go to the A & A Towing tow lot after an accident. Why?

There are several reasons: 1. You do not have to pay the tow bill at the time of service. 2. The insurance company will send out an adjuster to inspect your car and the other car that was involved sooner to avoid storage fees. 3. Many cities have ordinances against parking a wrecked car in your driveway.

13. Can you tow motorcycles?

Yes, our trucks carry all of the necessary equipment to safely tow your motorcycle without damage.

14. Can you unlock my car with electric locks and side-impact airbags?

Yes, our drivers carry the proper equipment to unlock your car.

15. Can I schedule a tow?

Yes, call one of our dispatchers at 636-300-9100, give them the necessary information and the time you would like to have us tow the car.

16. Do you require background checks on your drivers?

Yes ALL EMPLOYEES of A & A Towing Services, LLC must pass a background check and are screened thru a complete fingerprint based check is conducted thru the Missouri State Hwy Patrol.
